In South Korea, sohwakhaeng (소확행) - 'a small but certain happiness' - is used to describe simple activities and experiences that give people joy. Sohwakhaeng doesn't have to be exciting or grand, it can be as simple as going for a walk in nature or taking yourself out for a cup of coffee.
These two 120 page photobooks, have each photo accompanied with Korean and English captions, will take you through 4 cities that we felt particularly inspired by: Seoul, Busan, Incheon and Jeju.
We picked out a variety of images, capturing everything from the breathtaking scenery we saw, to the food that we ate. Each city has it’s own unique style, as you will see when you flip through the pages of this book.
Korea truly captured our hearts. We hope that by looking through these photos, you will not only feel inspired, but will share in that love for Korean culture with us.
